Running Board Upgrade for 121

Just installed a pair of the Yamaha competition tunnel stiffeners tonight on my 09 rtx se....they look awesome and I think an elephant could ride the sled without bending the rails. They were a little spendy but I figured it was worth the extra money. The install is a little much though....drilling 130 holes and then riveting 130 rivets! Thank god for the pneumatic rivet gun!

Here's a picture

I spoke with the owner at WRP mountain tuff boards and he said they will have some boards ready within 2 weeks for the 121.

thats cool to hear have to keep my eye out for them. would possible get set if they come available.

I look forward to seeing the boards the owner at WRP mountain tuff boards said they will have ready within 2 weeks for the 121.

I placed an order with snow eliminator 3 weeks ago. I had to call the guy twice to check the status of my order. First time i called he was unsure which model nytro i had, and was going to call me back if he needed the measurements from a 121 fx nytro. Never called me back. I called again a week last to check on the status of my order again and they needed measurements from my sled. I cancelled my order. If you order from them plan on not getting informed of anything and waiting a long time to get your product.

The wrp boards i bought do not fit the 121 nytro for sure. I am probably going to keep the and just cut them down to fit the length. also have to cut out where the rear susp bolts in. :exc:

i got message back from sled solutions and they said they will prolly not make them for the short tracks. :o|

I believe the wrp boards will fit a 09 nytro rtx se... they will just have to be cut a little shorter...

Does anyone have first hand expirence with a snow eliminating type running board on a 121? If so what board did you use and how well did they fit?
