I want to get a new jacket this year to go with my new Yamaha colors. My last two jackets were Reima Warriors and I was quite happy with them. The only thing I would have changed was to add some padding to the collar.
Im looking for a change, who else makes a high quality, warm and protective jacket?
Backpacks, Have a couple Canada pack trips in the planning stages. Ill need to get a good pack to carry clothes etc. Ive never worn one while riding so Im not sure what to look for other than the obvious of light weight, comfort and waterproof.
Any recomendations

FXR makes quality gear, I have had two of their jackets well made and great service. They actually make some of yammies gear. The new floatex jacket is sweet. FXRRACING.COM you can purchase online or from an american dealer. Take it from an ex infantrymen and a avid hunter, spend the money on a good pack, your back won't regret it. Good names NORTH FACE, MOUNTAIN EQUIPMENT COOP, ARCTERYX, KIFARU, KELTY, ETC.

I just wish we could get paid back for the amount of advertising some of these companys plaster all over these clothes. The more advertising the lower the cost..

Check out Klim clothing. Their stuff is waterproof, windproof, breatheable, and if you get the Klimate parka and Klimate bibs they are also insulated. This is some of the highest quality clothing made but you pay for it. Their stuff is very thin and most of it is based on the layering sysytem but as said above the Klimate parka and bibs are insulated but still very thin but absolutely warm. You don't need much insulation if it is truly windproof and the cold air can't get to your body. This is the very best clothing I have owned period. Gene
Just make sure you buy the clothing to match your winter sports...I went ahead and bought a expensive Reima suit, it was great when you are riding and moving around but when I went ice fishing I froze my butt off, but I looked good lol...I spent a lot of money on this jacket and then had to but the liner then had to buy the under body armor, cost a fortune..Now I spent $350 on this winter suit and it is great it is a little bulky but it's warm and it looks decent........
