Snow shovel

I have an05 RS Venture I like to carry a colapsable snow shovel and am having a hard time deciding where to carry it . There is no wasted space . Does any one have any ideas ?

I wear a back pack for my shovel and other nessesities.

How collapsable is it? Will it fit on the belt guard under the hood? If not, you can always strap it onto the seat rest.

Ok I removed the handle and tied it to the belt guard .The shovel part fits in my rear carrier bag .
