Hey guys,
new here and new to the four strokes. So far I have to say that it was worth every penny. I do seem to have an issue however and was looking for some feedback. I have an 07 RS Rage GT. When playing in the powder, my machine pushed enough snow into the front end to completely pack the air box and suffocate the engine. Luckily there was no damage to the engine, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem. I fabricated a cover plate for the bottom screen and halfway up the side screens so she could still breathe, seems to have cured the problem, but wondering if any other solutions are available.

I've never heard of anyone having a problem like that. How much snow were you in? Most people complain that the Rage/LTX's can't get through the deep stuff. I have no problems, but we don't get that much powder.

I have ridden my Rage quite a bit off trail in the powder and have not had that issue. Even before I switched skis. I will say that my front does float alot better since I add Slydog Powderhound skis on the front. G.B.

I have the stock skis on it but am considering skins or wider skis. Powder wasn't that deep...only upto my knees or so. The machine doesn't seem to have any power problems in the powder, was just getting WWAAAAYYY too much snow in the airbox.

swap the skis out and you should be good. i love my curves. helped with front floatation enourmously as i did not burry it breaking trail in over windscreen height snow.
