So I bought a turbo RX1

I couldn't resist the 4-stroke power any longer. I bought that blue 03 turbo that was just on ebay. I had a turbo on my MachZ a few years back(fast, not trailable), but after doing research it seems these yamaha's work well. Anyways its a original stage II kit from Bender, I was going to call Bender and ask what updates there are for it. But I was hoping you guys might give me a heads up on it.

I think I got a good deal. I've been running 200hp sleds for a while, but this turbo thing has got me pretty excited.

I should mention, I'm not all Ski-Doo, I do have a 86 Phazer LE. I think it has about 1 bizillion miles on it. It just wont die.

Those Phazers were tough to kill. I had a chance to try a turbo, but didn't. I knew that my sled wouldn't be any more fun, but I don't want to spend $4500 on a turbo.

He has a Bender "stage 1 1/2" as he calls it. I think the change on the early benders was a mod to the oiling system. He will know for sure though if there is more.

The engine oiling kit is coming with the sled, It's not hooked up yet. I think you can still check out the sled on ebay at

Greg has been a great guy to deal with on this deal. I guess he's already done some of the updates.

Yes, i talked to that guy, nice guy! You need to do the oil update! I am putting a Bender on my sled right now! It is a blast, but can not wait to get it on the snow!! Have fun! I feel you got the sled for a good deal for both of you! The 03 RX1 are have a hard time selling for $4,500!!

Yup, thats the one I saw. That was rather strange that nobody else bid.
