Hopefully they build a normally aspirated Nytro powered M sled, then all you would have to do is turbo it. Or, just buy the 1100T High Country and hope she holds together. My bud has one and it ran flawlessly until 1500 miles. He's been having clutch and belt issues after that. Loves how it works when it is running though.

if it has A/C clutching then I wouldnt be buying the A/C... I have friends with the xf and m sleds and will never get a a/c with there clutch and belt setup... $200 a/c belts are hard to come by in bush alaska, and they go thru alot of them

i'm sticking with my nytro for now unless they offer a turbo for cheap with a snocheck. the viper will be a great sled all around thats for sure i just wish they would've come out with a different motor at least. it makes sense for business, get people to stay with yam and maybe get a few more and hopefully in 2015 they can bring something new to keep the market shares growing. does anyone know if it will come with a #*$&@ warmer? those are sure nice on those cold days. looking forward to see what cat offers as well.

also i hope cat keeps their clutches give people more of a reason to buy yamaha. will be interesting to see next year how many cat and yamaha sell of those sleds. i'm putting my prediction in for the sled of the year the SR VIPER

I'm curious to see what the Cat sleds look like and if they will have a Nytro engine and clutches. I'm thinking they won't for the first year. If they are the same I'd be very tempted to buy the Cat version because my buddy's cat dealer is way more into performance and racing than the Yamaha dealer.

I'd add a couple more poll choices but I don't know how.

Staying put. Getting a new Viper XTX SE. Red and Black. Put on a set of the new Yamaha Tuner dual keel skis. Bergstram skags. And headed out riding. See you all on the trail. Time to Rock and Roll. :yam:

Haven't seen anything new from Yamaha that compels me to buy! Will just keep my 06 Apex RTX. If I was to buy a sled right now, it would be an Indy 600 do to price.

Well, it has nothing to do with the Viper, which I actually think is pretty awesome. But i've been seriously looking at a TNT or Renegade 1200. If Skidoo releases a 900 ACE I would probably go with that over the 1200 though.

But in the end I don't like spending money and I'll probably ride the RX1 until I can't anymore. :)

polaris indy. best bang for buck in the industry!
x2 friend of a friend is racing one right now in the Iron Dog with full Ohlins and titanium springs. Ran a Rush last year, Indy is better through the stutters and has better top end than the Rush. I may pick one up next year as they will be cheap!! Still unsure on Viper as I will sit out first year (burned too many times on first year specials). Will keep my Apex for smooth trail days.

i just bought a ski doo tnt 600 etech yesterday when my beloved yamaha let me down, ill ride it 1000 miles and sell it before it falls apart, then its either a ALL yamaha nytro or maybe a four stroke ski doo, in two years when this realationship dont work out and yamaha goes back to making everything themselves ill be back and you guys with the crap they are selling called a viper can use them for lawn ornaments

This has to be the most hilarious post Ive read in the last month... So you bought a sled you know will fall apart, so you dont have to buy a sled that Yamaha has enough faith in to put their name on. Great Idea

Im not in the market, but if I was, Id seriously consider the new Viper over just about any sled out there.

Staying on my Nytro untill they get the germlins out of the first or second year chais, chaincase, hopfully they'll assemble them in house at yamaha in the future! I really like the looks but i got burnt on my 08 nytro rtx when they cameout with all kinds of updates and better shocks and graphics! still kinda feel like we were left out to dry, Alot of money to be a ginipig! if it turns out i'll get a carryover or see what comes out next. Perhaps the cat would be better? offer the race package with fox flot evols! Or maybe they'll put the nytro engine in a polaris rush next year! Oh yah one other thing they never bring demo rides to ND, Even if they were to drop of a demo sled at some of the dealers in nd like polaris and cat used to! i guess i could go ride a cat if the come out? but i look better in blue!
