I peeled out of work at 4:00 yesterday, drove home (1.5miles) suited up and went out for a spin. Temp was 7degreesF, we now have 16-24" on the level, with no base to speak of yet. My 06' Attak almost stock except for LP roller, Mnt skis, and a full block 1.5" track. Took off boonedocking out my back door at 4:30. While riding solo, I just went off bustin' drifts, carving and letting the snow blow over the hood. This sled is just getting more and more fun everytime I take it out. You can stuff it thru the POW for hours and it does not skip a beat. It still is challanged to get the track on top but it just keeps on tredging forward. I stopped twice and could not wipe the smile off my face. I crossed the groomed trail 3 times and never had an inclination to get on it and follow the rest of the sheep heard. Wish I could go out today but it is my turn in the groomer for a 12 hour run. I'll be out tomorrow though, and hope to push a tank or two thru those injectors......and be assured no matter how the groomed trail shapes up tonight, me and my Attak won't be anywhere near them.
i'll drink to that

Hey Bodacious I did basically the same thing, rode to Suttons Bay and Lake LeDouche. Stayed off trail most of the time, solo ride for me too like most of the time. Always bring my cell, GPS, and TekVest just in case. We need to get together and compare suspensions. Thanks for the grooming you do!

Cool story. I have a wrecker srv that was very busy in the afternoon yesterday. Not my weekend on but more than one truck could do. After the wind stopped I jumped into my 1972 6x6 wrecker and took it for a spin. Found some drifts that were 3-4' deep. Had a good time opening up some roads. Then jumped on my 05 Rx1 and put 25 miles on it. Sure had alot of fun!
