Well gentleman some friends of mine just came back from a few days in shall we say the beautiful Province of Ontario and once again experienced trails like no other. Hell if I could have stopped myself I would have gotten off my sled and took a picture of the ungroomed untouched trail of about a nice 12-18" of fresh plowing through it for about a good eight miles or so until we happened upon these beauties pictured below when it finally hit me to STOP and take some pics for all of you whom are my homies!! I was with 4Fighter and another buddy named CJ "Dirty Sanchez" the pic of me on the lake was a 115 MPH run on my speedo but since they are wrong it was probably only about 41 MPH!!! But who cares it was AWESOME so enjoy the pics and sport some wood boys!!!!!

What's really funny is that was after I put my transfer rod to 1/3 to the track before that with my fatass I was really hanging the skis. Actually to a point to where I was drifting across the trail and into anyone I would race on the lake. I had to set her back down. I am SO sold on StudBoy studs. I have alway's used Woody's but those day's are over. This sled is just flat out awesome I love it.welterracer said:awsome wheelie..

Great pics Blue me, where'd you go in Ontario? I have a trip planned for week after super bowl, and the OFSC says the trails are closed, or marginal.

Well the area we were in is in Iron Bridge. We stayed at the Village Inn 1-877-998-9099. They have an awesome restaraunt and real nice rooms for $60 cdn a night. These were trails from Elliot Lake all the way to Wharncliffe and Wakamata area. The roughest part of the ride was around the Bruce Mines area where they didn't get to brush hog the trails before the first big dump came so there are some thikets sticking through the snow but northwest and east of the Iron Bridge area was as you see just awesome. STAY off Lauzon and Matineda lakes but all the others perfect and they are grooming across the lakes. They are expecting more snow and that groomer was on a Friday night. Iron Bridge is east on Hwy. 17 about 80 miles from Soo Canada. When in Elliot Lake go to the Fireside Inn and see Cene (SEE NEE) in the bar. She is an awesome lady who is one of 25 kids from New Foundland. What an angel!!

How long of a drive is that from Waterford?

Legally?? I am not sure of that but it is 4 hours to the bridge 45 minutes to the Soo about 15 minutes across the International bridge into Canada and about 1 hour 45 minutes to Iron Bridge. So all in all with one gas stop in the Soo Michigan (last exit before the border it about 7 1/2 hours but it splits up nicely with food and piss stops. It's an easy drive.dirkdiggler said:How long of a drive is that from Waterford?

So the trails in Elliot Lake are good right now. I wanted to trail ride from the SOO, but I know for a fact the trails suck in Echo Bay, they have not been groome yet. I wanted to go from the Sault to Echo Bay to Primeau Lake, to Wharncliffe to Aubery Falls to Elliot Lake and back. Any more info would be great.Blue Me said:Well the area we were in is in Iron Bridge. We stayed at the Village Inn 1-877-998-9099. You are screwed. Echo Bay stinks so I am told and chose not to go towards that way. Once you get to Blind River you are good so just drive the extra 45 minutes for solice trust me!!
