Spark Intensifiers! Just another snake oil?

Hype

I remember when everybody had to have the Splitfire spark plugs. They cost 3 times as much and didn't do anything. All these people are sitting on their tropical islands drinking fruity drinks thanks to suckers like us.

Actually, v-groove/splitfire plugs resist fouling. Makes a BIG difference on machines that like to chew through multiple sets of plugs per gas tank.

As for intensifying spark... that could actually hurt the engine. There is a reason why there are different *numbers* on the plugs... they indicate the intensity of the spark they generate with relationship to the ignition coil. You should NEVER allow a spark thats more than SLIGHTLY stronger than stock.

So far the needle is pegged on "Snake Oil"! I tried a spark intensifying product from (I believe it was the same company) maybe 10 years ago called "Swazers". They also had a moneyback guarantee. My buddies and I all ended up bringing ours back because we couldn't tell any difference at all. I had hoped that the technology advancements in 10 years had made a difference and made spark intensifiers a worthwhile product. Powder Blue

DON'T waste your money on junk like that.If a "spark intensifier" or "magnetic fuel line thing" worked the manufacturers (cars, sleds, whatever) would be using them.Fact is an engine will only use as much KV (juice) as it takes to fire the plug and no more, no matter how much is available. Most modern ignitions have double whats necessary! The only time you may need more is when you increase cylinder pressure i.e. up compression ratio or super/turbocharging .
Better off dialing in clutching/jetting

Yea its kinda like the little tornado,u can put in ya air intake,in an auto to increase air flow for added hp.lol
