Look how the plug r never seen plugs this bad I think this may be my prob to back fireing and running like #*$&@

anytime you start it you should let it warm up to the point the heat exchangers ubder the running boards get good and hot. during the summer if you just run it till the light goes out its not enough to warm and burn crap off the plugs. carbon.

Thank you that's what i was doing light go out hit thengas a few time then shot it of will this make it back fire to

No that will be next it runs good with red light on no back fireing at all but why red lights out and I hit the gas it back fires the exhaust donuts will make it back fire throw the exhaust
If you are getting a lot of backfiring, have you checked your exhaust donuts?

donuts will backfire when letting of from a decent pull not when hitting the flipper those plugs are the prob and they look like that because you are running 93 octane and starting it with out letting it get up to full temp. may not be as bad if you ran 87 octane in it but most of all its the short run times.

It was not a hard pull when it did it it was on Dolly's when it did

so stop running it till you take it out to ride

others have told you this in a diffrent post when you were asking if you or your buddy should run race fuel

Ya that was race fuel but 93 gas I ran it in ever sled I have with no probs I don't get this im dumb at this

You can run 93 but you will lose power,it burns slower ,and you will spend about a $1.00 more on a full tank .i run 93 in my bike but its warm outside and i twist it up 15,000rpm all day and its summer fuel too.im sure the heads are slightly different ..also check your spark plug gap ,last owner could of dropped a plug and closed up the gap then installed it ?? it can happen.

I have started my sled twice a month since i got it >every month! but you have to let it be for about 5 min on its own at idle.then spin the track rev it up and blow it out,i let it get up to temp 160deg and then shut it down.very important! or you will have carbon build up! fouled plugs! backfire! fuel needs to be fresh ! and no throttle pumping!.Vroom vroom vroom vroom vroom vrooooooom vroom vroom vroom.when you bought it used who knows how many times the guy showed it off and loaded it up:dunno:

Put new plugs in ,make sure the fuel is fresh and try it again.like Mr Sled typed ,it could also be your donuts etc

Some here I can run my rocket all
Day on 93 no prob not back fireing and what sould the spark plug gap be on a 06 Yamaha apex gt thank you
