I have bender exhaust, Hauck stage 3 clutch kit, ECP filter kit-165 jets. Which plugs should I run. Should I run the NGK CR9E or the colder CR10ek plugs? Any opinions?

I know Freddie will recommend the CR10EK since he sells them with his air kit. I have a set of CR9EKs but have no reason to take out the CR10EKs that I put in while installing the ECP filter kit. ;)!

I'd go with the NGK CR10EK's. I currently have them installed with the ECP kit and still think they run a little lean. No major concerns till temps drop to -10 ~ -15.

I would like to hear this Freddie are those plugs good for evry temp? And why the colder plug for more perf?

The coldest sparkplug your ignition will fire will produce the most power. This is not my opinion...it is known fact by every smart tuner and engine builder in every industry wether it be snowmobiles, automobiles etc.

They are indeed good for every temperature range.

We use this same sparkplug in every single motorcycle that has that size hole. Hayabusa, GSXR1000, GSXR750, GSXR600, ZX12, ZX10, ZX7, ZX6 and more. I have proven over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over that the CR10EK's make more power than stock plugs. I could honestly say that I could produce more than 1000 dynoruns of sleds and motorcycles proving this to be true.

No Iridium sparkplugs do not make as much power.

Once again Freddie you prove why you are "THE MAN" Thanks for all your wisdom youve ever shared its greatly apreciated.

While installing ECP kit i noticed that the ground strap on the stock plugs are heated all the way down to the base ring.Everything ive read on plug reading and tuning would say that the plug would be too high of a heat range, ideally the ground strap would only be burned(heated) to the curve of the ground strap.Perhaps this is another reason for the colder plug.

I really like the sound of the filters, initially I was worried about the intake noise but the filters make a great sounding sled even better, especially at full throttle.
