Spark plugs?

I know this was just talked about recently but I can't seem to find the posting. Something about cr10ek plugs giving you 2-3 hp on Apex. The stock plugs are cr9eb. My question is why go to a colder plug and will a cr9ek work the same, better or worse. Thanks for any help.
