I'm going to change my plugs this fall i just wanted to know how much more involved it is compared to changeing oil. i can't remember if i could get to them when i changed the oil last winter.

To get to the plugs you have to remove a lot more of the body panels.
Work your way to the gas tank and remove it or just slide it back.
Then you will see the spark plugs.
I will see if I can find some pictures that I've taken to show you.

Hope this helped.

Looking at your avitar and the difference between the phazer and a conventional snowmobile. If the phazer had a big ol' bonnet it would be SO much easier to work on.

That is very true. But on the other hand the only time i have to do any work to it is after the cold of winter has passed so i'm ok with it. not like my old easy to work on 2 stroke where i had to change plugs on he side of the trail in minus 30c winds lol

i took the clutch side panel off & moved the gas tank back a little. got in there with some extensions & universal joint adapter.
not too bad of a job considering how packed in it is.

deff get the cr9ekb!!!!! dont get the cr9ek's to save a buck or 2....
