:o|When we went on our trip, I blew a bearing and it took out the speed sensor giving me a code #42 and at the same time it started to give me another code #84 throttle overide, what a pain to ride. Its not until I replaced the speed sensor that all the problems went away, we stopped at 3 Dealers and nobody ever heard of this, we checked everything and the throttle was all good. You can`t disconnect your override because your cooling system are interlinked with it, keep this in mind. Marc

Not true , just bypass the tors until you get a new sensor and the sled will run fine.

we had the same issue. replaced the bearing and bypassed the tors until the new speed sensor came in.

I own a 2006 venture RS and with these models if you disconnect the overide and you end up busting your cooling system for some reason(Ex:studs through cooling lines) the engine codes will not show this problem then you end up seizing your engine. If you disconnect it, don`t leave it out of commission to long. Just for info, Marc

Not true , tors is a different system.

Cooling is a different system.

T.O.R.S. has nothing to do with the cooling system. It is tied in with the CDI box. If you move the gas lever up or down like I did, you may experience T.O.R.S. codes and a lousy running machine.

i was with this guy when we went to 2 different yammi dealer,i asked the mechanic where the tors wire was, like on the rx1,2 green connectors,on the newer sleds, its different,he told us if we bypass the tors,it will throw codes, like a wire is not connected and we would lose coolant and oil light warnings in case of a problem, both dealers said the same thing
