Spindle-Steering knuckle

Has anyone experienced a problem with the steering knuckle/spindles?

Spoke with a guy who owns a Apex and he mentioned his buddy has a Apex and the spindle dropped out of the knuckle, mentioned something about an update coming to keep this from happening.

Never heard of it before, has anyone else?

I watch this forum fairly close. I assume that the bolt holding the steering arm to the spindle was loose?? This is the first I recall anything about this.

However, my 04 Rx came from the factory with the Mag side link to the torsion bar loose and with the bolt on the outside of the groove. It was set to fall off. So this type of thing (loose connection) does happen. Maybe, that is why Yamaha has all the "snow checks" delivered early. So we can spend all Fall double checking the factory's early production and Monday morning work? Just Kiddin'
