During my track change I 'misplaced?' the compression spring that goes in the small holes on the reverse gears. the part number is
90501-060A1-00. The dealer said the new number is 90501-06022-00.
Is there an aftermarket part i can use? Or some other option. No one around here has one in stock.
I am in International falls Minnesota and would travel today if someone has one.
Thanks

check the local hardware store , in their spring drawer, it doesn't look like anything all that special, maybe even out of a pen?

I'm not sure if it is the same spring but check with LazyBastard because one of his posts says that he is running without a reverse spring. Check his second post in this thread.

Thanks. I pm'd him. I didn't notice a spring when I took it apart but I was having a few 'liquid wrenches' along the way.
Thanks again

I ran my viper for 1400 miles without it, right up ill I traded it, no problems. A pen spring may just work
i'm a bit leary a pen spring might pop out causing some damage.

They cost under 2 bucks so they can't be much of a spring. My dealer is ordering me a few so next time I pull it aprat to change gears I'll put one in.
