Nothing is published, they are shooting for 20 lbs less than a comparable Nytro

What is the dry weight of the SR Viper,Rtx,LTX or XTX?

They told us 20 lbs. less than a Nytro but my own arms told me it's more. If I can pick the front end of the new Viper off the floor to my chest about as easy as my old 2 stroke Viper and I can't get the Nytro more than an inch off the floor without a hernea......then it's more than 20 lbs. less.

Journyman...Unless you've been working out! lol ;)!

Actually I do. I am 49 years old, an avid mountain and winter biker and belong to a gym. I can still bench press over 300 lbs and I weigh under 200 lbs.

My dealer said closer to 40lbs lighter than a nytro?
Wouldn't that make it around 475-480 if its 40 lighter then our Nytros? I heard 488 from a dealer

I think the Nytro is 527 dry, so apparently your dealer and my dealer are on the same page. 40 off would be 487....that would be sweet if correct :jump:

Wow,This sled is going to be amazing! I had my Nytro dialed in pretty well with different skis and some tuning and it worked pretty damn well. I know the Viper is going be way better and to me if it is it is going to give the XP all it can handle in handling and riding. I know it will blow away the 1200 in those departments,Like I said before I hands down was going with an Xp but not no more! We now have the best motor on snow with IMO the best chassis on the snow! This sled is going to be awesome,Going to be the best 4 stroke on the market even tho if you want videos a lot of people said the nytro RTX SE was the best riding 4 stroke on the market and I just know the Viper RTX SE is going to be so much better and that excites me! I am going tomorrow to my dealer to snow check her! LTX SE vs RTX SE idk which one but It will be one of them! I look @ it like this,If I do not like it which I know won't happen cuz I loved my Nytro but if i don't ill sell it and buy a 2012 XRS 800 ETEC so its a no lose for me

It'll prolly weigh about the same as the AC 1100 turbo - anyone know how heavy that is?

549 for a f1100 sno pro...

the rear skid will weight less..due to alot of less material and wheels...you will be adding wheels etc to it..... the exhaust snaking around more.....the suspension works very well...but most who are looking for yamaha typical fit and finish etc will be disappointed I believe...the powertrain should make LESS power than the current nytro due to the restrictive exhaust...

IMHO the gearbox if its the same as the cats ..will be a huge cluster f*%@

Heard 128hp........thats a shame !! Cat 1100NA was 123hp
128? lol its 130 but if you dyno it comes in @ around 135-138 and its every bit as fast as an F7 in the nytro chassis,I would think be faster in this one!
