Changed the battery today and still wasn’t starting. Ran for a few seconds and #*$&@ off. Wouldn’t idle. Had to go to work but tomorrow I’ll change the plugs. I did ask the local yamaha dealer to look up the flash update history and he said that he doesn’t see where my sled had any of the updates.

Try pulling in brake lever while starting have found this helps , I know it sounds foolish but it has helpedMy 2014 SR Viper XTX will not start in cold weather. Just cranks, sputters once in a while and backfires through the muffler. I bought it from the original owner and has only about 6,000 kms. Any ideas.
