I ordered my apex, now my friend is selling his 98 srx and he likes the nytro alot, my question is since i never rode a vector (just rx1) he is worried the he will be dissapointed at the nytro performance compared to the srx. I told him i think the run really good and it wont run with the srx on the lake but thats not what its made to do. what do you vector guys think? I think he will have no regrets
P.S. the srx is for sale for 2000.00

I have an 05 vector and it is a great sled and I was very lucky to ride the 06 sleds. I have to be honest, for riding trails particularly the rough ones at the end of the day the NYTRO is harsh. This model is made for the hardcore ditch banger. The graphics are very cool and the fox floats will give you near infinate adjustability on the front. The rear could end up softer in the production models, but who knows.rx1ton said:I ordered my apex, now my friend is selling his 98 srx and he likes the nytro alot, my question is since i never rode a vector (just rx1) he is worried the he will be dissapointed at the nytro performance compared to the srx. The Apex models blew me away. With those for $1000 (0r more depending on model) more you get the best of everything. Additionally if you are primarily a trail and lake rider the monoshock is fantistic. And that skid is on everything but the nytro.

The Nytro wont run with the SRX on the lake but once you hit the bumps the Nytro will shine.
The SRX and Nytro are 2 sleds that are designed for 2 very different types of riding.
The SRX was made for running flat-out on the lake.
The Nytro is made for the big bumps and for riding the ditches.

I think you could ride the NITRO all day with no problems.
If you are an aggressive rider, you will love it.
I found I did not spend much time on the seat at all.
I was either leaning off the side or standing up.
If you like to style...I say get it!!

I actually thought it could be alittle stiffer lol. That truely illustrates the different needs of different riders.
If your buddy wants an SRX replacement the GT is the sled..it has the power and the "premium" ride (lots of expensive shocks). The Nytro is awesome!! It's an absolute blast to ride...you just start looking for thinks to jump...I would think it is the polar opposite of the SRX..and it doesn't have the power. I didn't miss the power I was too busy having fun..but if you guys go for lake bragging rights he's not going to be happy.
