I know the weights will be different etc. but with the proper internals will it work, crank taper the same etc.
Also I have a HC setup from my srx are they the same weight that would be used in the rx, seems like there 48gram starting weight.
Thx

The clutch will fit the taper, the offset will be the same, but the problem is that on the SRX clutch (2 stroke) they don't have the windows in the spyder of the clutch to clear the large weights the RX1 has.
Below is a 2 stroke clutch spyder on the left and the 4 stroke clutch spyder on the right.

That being said my HC's from the SRX will not work in the RX1 clutch, they are not heavy enough? I read somewhere (I thought in some instructions) that they would.
Thanks for the input.

I don't think the HC's will be heavy enough.

you need to get the right spring for the heel clickers to work. i think you need the grey one if memory serves. i run the drag n flys on my 11 apex and we have a set of 40-10 in a 13 rs venture.

Ill give them a try, I do have a silver hc spring, I guess I'm calling it silver is that what you call grey?.
I figured someone had to try these weights in the rx's , lots of people went from the srxs and vipers to them. I'm doing it 15 years later...
Maybe ill change the spring and put the entire clutch on instead of swapping the weights to the rx clutch.

yes silver is the grey but my memory is bad. 4 strokes use the white spring usually and that is the one i am using.

The webbing is thicker also on the four stroke clutch moveable sheave.
