2019 SRX, 2018 Viper LTX
Here in Canada, Tcat priced the same as SRX at $20,499 but you also get Factory handguards, a real windshield and push button start. Also have the option of foregoing the ICat (IQS) shock adjuster and save $800. Doesn't seem quite right, Makes all the leftover 17's and 18's even more attractive.

Don't you also get cat #*$&@ clutching?

But it says Arctic Cat on it. I’ll come up with the 200$ for hand guards and windshield.

I put my down payment on the srx

I will agree, I really don’t want the shocks especially for the money. More things to have problems with.

I also paid less then 20499

Has anyone ran the 2018 sidewinder against the thundercat?

Maybe but I hear the opposite lol

I know its Canadian but 20k for a freaking snowmobile.... I cant believe they would be able to sell a dozen of them . And they did not even attempt to offer something in the middle of the line up. If you asked them to make a 8-9,000 dollar sled what would it turn out like??? Sorry .. just keep watching the cost go up each year and wonder .

I trade in 1-2 sleds every year or two and when I see the same sled (clutching excepted) with more features for the same price, I get upset. I have both dealers in town, but the Cat dealer doesn't want SW trade-ins. I have purchased over 40 new sleds, so hundreds of dollars in extras per sled adds up. Maybe if you trade in every 13 years it's not such a big deal. In this quickly shrinking sport, maybe they should quit angering people such as myself by offering less and expecting us to pay more (every year). I have already put my down payment on an SRX before Cat announced their pricing. The $20,499 didn't bother me. The fact that you get the same sled with more std features (push button start, handguards and functional shield) for the same price is a blatant kick in the balls. I don't think it was a coincidence that Textron announced their line-up well ahead of Yamaha but waited ten days after Yamaha's prices were divulged to announce theirs. One company wants to sell 2019's and increase market share while the other is content to clear out 2017's and 18's and strengthen their hold on their diminishing market share and last place. Don't get me wrong, I love Yamaha sleds but they are straining relationships with loyal repeat yearly customers and with dealers who are forced to offer less at the same or higher price.

This is my first new sled and the first time dealing with this dealer and they dropped the price almost 2'gs

Tcat does not have push button start...Only the AC 2 strokes get it.

SRX gets a way nicer tunnel bag, blue powder-coated tunnel, coloured belly pan, coloured skis and way sharper graphics IMO. Id take those all day over a set of flimbsy handguards.

Yes was going to say no push start on either 4 stroke.
