Had to replace my starter and relay, read the instructions from Ray's Shop and decided to give it a shot myself.
I got to the point where he says to use 2 pry bars and a buddy to move the engine forward but I didn't like the idea of pry bars so here's what I did with a couple pics.
Under the air box there is 2 castings with holes I assume are used in assembly of the sleds to lower in the engine, I used my manual lift and a chain from the ceiling with 2 tie down straps, removed the motor mounts, raised the sled to the highest point with the lift, attached the tie downs to each hole, snug them up and begin to lower the sled, you can see the engine moving. I had the starter ready to fall out according to Ray's instructions...keep lowering until the engine doesn't move anymore, get under and wiggle the starter around and it comes right out.
Install the new one and raise the sled back up until the motor mount holes line back up and it's done. Don't forget to hook the battery back up and check for proper operation, don't forget the new relay that was most likely the problem.
This allows you do install it by yourself and no risk of putting a pry bar through your engine.
