Still love my vector even after rideing the apex

Got a chance to demo the new Yamaha's this weekend. I Must say I still love my 05 vector. I road the apex Gt, apex er ,attack,and 06 vector. I must say that apex GT is sweet The best ride,But In my book a cant justify spending another 4,000 to get that, But I will say after owning a rx-1 that the apex as nothing like it ,Its just a different sled.I have heard how great the mono shock is and I was thinking of putting it my 05 vector, I glad I took it for a ride because I had no problem bottom it out even set on hard. It was great in the small bumps , but man in the 3 footers it would just bottom.The 06 vector I bottomed 20 times in a ten min ride, Now I weight 236lbs but I was still surprised because I road my 05 over the same trails and only bottomed out once. Like I said the apex gt was the nice ride but I still had no trouble bottom out. Well just my .02 cents

Thanks for the post. After seeing the '06 lineup, I had a hard time talking myself out of trading in my '05. I'll wait another couple years I think.
