I was wondering if I should leave the front shocks stock on the sled ( 09 Apex LTX) or go with the Fox Floats. I can get a good deal on a new set of Fox Floats. I am wondering if they are worth the money or should I go with the clicker shocks like on the GT sleds or just stay with the stock ones.

Any help would be appreciated. Pros and cons of stock versus floats/clickers.

Thanks

I have fox on the rtx and LOVE them..... but then i also have the front ohlins too... depends on what you are doing... if i was going to war... i'd probably take the ohlins, but love the feel and the not bottoming of the floats.... if you could get them for a good price... id say go for it!!!!!!!!!

the float will lighten your front end buy a pound or two per side.... and the adjustability of them is great. you can really fine tune them. there are alot of pro's/con's and it all depends on what kind of ride are you looking for!!!

Whatever you go with will need to be valved to your riding style. With that done, you'll love them, whatever you have.

I replaced my stock shocks with floats and love the adjustable and ride. They do require a 13mm sway bar thought as they wont be near as flat for cornering. I also added Nextech reserviors to soften the small ripple bumps and now I run a lower psi. Easy to install both resi/sway bar..
