Does anyone know what the stock Helix angle is? I've added some more ponies to my ride this year and would like to let them stretch their legs. I've considered shimming my stock helix but I'm considering maybe going to a multi or just different straight cut angle. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance..

Thanks in advance..

Thanks Shadow I thought it was 47 for some reason. Are the Rtx and XTX the same? Any suggestions to get more mph from helix swap?

I believe the XTX and RTX use the same helix. I tried a 43/41 and a 47/41 and they just didn't work out for me....08 RTX. I guess it's just the nature of the beast with the short tracks unless you relocate the rear skid to get a better approach angle. I've come to the conclusion that the Nytro is just not a top end buggy, however the odd one seems to do well.

I found if you have great traction and weigh over 220lbs stock 43 degree straight angle helix works great. try 45 or even 47..

Like shadow said they are not top end buggies. I have a 43 on my 162 with Hindle Exhaust and the wife's 153 has a 45 degree helix with skins pipe and air box vents , both sleds run side by side. I have a shock wave helix that I tried last year but never played with it enough to get the right angle so I took it off. In theory it sounds like the ideal helix but I just didn't have the time to get it set up right. Both sleds seem to work good with the helix combo's right now . Maybe in the spring I might mess with it again.
