I would love to see some feedback now that both TD and Hurricane have had stock muffler flashes out for a full season. If you ran a stock muffler flash this winter, please post your thoughts, fuel mileage, and any issues you had related to the tune.
DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A TD VS. HURRICANE THREAD. I do not care why you picked TD or Hurricane. I just want to see real world feedback.

Low and mid range was better but slowed top end down 8 MPH Don't check MPG. When i got the tune done that's when the oil leaks started.

I'm interested in these as well for my trail rig. I just want a simple lower power upgrade that spools faster.

TD Max Spool 16, 3 bar tune with BOV and 22 top gear.
Huge difference from stock, power wise, and does not hurt the mpg at all. Same tune for stock or modded exhaust.
Just went on another last ride of the season, so 2600 miles this season on this above stated tune. Not 1 problem with anything on whole sled. Just gas and go type year besides the usual checks on rollers, track, etc.
Usually run 93 if available but also used 91 and the 90 non-ethanol. Yes long WOT runs.
Tempted to try 89 whereas have never seen the knock light on this 3 bar tune.
This tune is very powerful for trails and every bit of throttle makes a difference.
I like just over or under 9000 rpm with this tune.

Same here. I ride really twisty trails. Rarely go over 100. I find the throttle response and low end power to be lacking with the stock tune.

TD stock muffler jukebox for 2 years. The flash to pass button and flasher are a little flaky. Because of that, most of my riding this past year was on Ecotrail. I estimate 14-16 mpg. I rarely track it anymore. During this past season only a 600 etec in our group ever used less gas than me. Im going to single flash my sled to Max Spool 16 and leave it.

Hurricane stock muffler tune bundle worked flawlessly all season over 3000km
I tuned my 19 at 0 km.
If you do a stock muffler tune I suggest to add Bov, and 3 bar map sensor. I run just the tune at first then add Bov ,3 bar and cai and it mad a good difference. I run the #*$&@ out of my sled this season!! Mostly on 270 or 240 when riding with wife I would run 225
I recently bought the hurricane trail muffler and changed tunes to 240 270 300hp to compare!!
Aftermarket muffler tune definitely spools up turbo faster it Hits like a freight train ..lol
Nice thing with the hurricane trail muffler it is just as quiet as stock just more of a growl and you can rivet the stock muffler stamped cover to the muffler for a total stock looking muffler

If you don't mind me asking, why did you ride most of the season on Ecotrail when you had Max16 in the bundle? I am curious how big of a difference there is between Eco SM, PT SM, and MS16.

Eco is default. Connection to flasher and phone was buggy and after restart it would be back to Eco. Sometimes the data screen would just freeze. I got tired of trying to make the flasher connection and just drove it. Sled spent winter in Maine hundreds of miles away. I need to update my flasher and try to reflash to single tune and only use datalogging when think I need it. IMO each step is a noticeable difference - I have no data to back it up (there are more than enough endorsements here of the Max Spool tunes). I'm curious but I have no real need for a TD GPS. If money is a concern go for the biggest single tune for the equipment you are going to run. For me that means factory muffler, 3 bar sensor and Turbosmart BOV - SM MS 16. Maybe I'll dash flash - this is my favorite money pit after all.If you don't mind me asking, why did you ride most of the season on Ecotrail when you had Max16 in the bundle?
