I have 1 bent rail on my apex.
it is bent up directly between the 2 front wheels.
Not too badly bent. It actually took me a few times looking at it to notice it was bent. If u put a straight edge across it there is about a 3/16 gap between the rail and the straight edge at the deepest part of the bend.

I dont want to use it as it is. I was thinking about trying to straighten it out in a press. If i screw it up i need to buy a new rail anyway since i am not going to use it. Anyone ever straighten one of these with any luck???
If you did, did it hold up??

I did one on a RX-1 i had it work till i hit some big bumps. You should bolt something to the rail to make it stronger after you fix it good luck :home:

You can bend it back to shape, but once the metal bends, it is not as strong as it once was at the flex point/s. So like the other guy says, some sort of rigid, metal support brace (along where is was bent) is a good idea.
