I have the 2007 phazer fx. Just wondering of the strap in the track is suppose to be tight. I was told it is suppose to be loose so the sled ain't so tippy. And so the track can flex more over bumps, than just tip when you hit them

The tighter the strap is the more ski pressure you will get, the looser it is the less weight there is on the skis.

I loosened up my straps 2 holes so now there is only one open on top, and I think it made a big difference. I wasn't getting much transfer back to the skid before, and now I can definitely feel it. That much ski pressure on my curves with 9 or 10" carbides was just nuts, but now that I loosened them I really like it.
