I have a 2003 RX1 and I seriously believe that it would get stuck in 6 inches of snow. Would I be better to put on a rip saw1.25 or extend the suspension and go with the 136 Rip saw. I have a camp that I go to in the winter that require some none groomed areas. Just looking to see what you guys think

I have no idea what "pitch" is when talking tracks. Arent our sleds 2.52" pitch drivers?

If you have the stock "finger" track, the Ripsaw will make a huge difference. My 03 with the stock track and only 500 miles can barely go through anything over 8" of powder. My friends 04 RX1 has a 1.25" ripsaw and goes through a foot plus with ease. Plus the front of these sleds is heavy as hell.

My '04 is always getting stuck but it is usually more drivers error.

Thanks for the info. I might try the rip saw then. I really hate to mess with the trail manners of the sled.

That could be the case but, This isn't super deep snow that we are talking and the sled should be able to go through much more.
