I have a 2015 STX DX with Cobra 1.35 wondering if safe to stud.
I thought I had read/heard this was not to be studded as was single ply.
The trails here in Mn are icy and really feel safer on my studded sleds.

I have the two ply version but they make single
Ply studs that have wider heads just be sure you use them and stud away. Call stud boy or woodys or any stud manufacturer and they can set you up with a complete set up

How can I tell if my stock Camoplast Cobra is 1 or 2 ply. THanks

My 2012 Turbo Cat had the single ply Cobra, With 141 studs and 220 H.P. Sold it with just under 11,000 miles, track still looked good.

Can’t you just use double backers?

Doubles for a single ply call the manufacture of the studs your buying they will be your best help straight from the source

Just use Woody's grand masters they work great on single ply 5000 miles on my 1.6" single ply not 1 gone plenty bent by 265 horse's.
