there appears to be two products on the market, BiteHarder and Woody's

Does anyone have much experience with either? I have an LTX SE with 3500 On Woody's studs, they are pretty dull, wondering if these will be a good option vs replacement?

I have used the BiteHarder product with great success. Not sure what you want to know.

I am curious about general sucess with either/both products? How affective do they sharpen, ? Do they stay sharp as long as new studs or dull quicker once sharpened?

The Bite Harder works really well on carbide tipped studs. They hold as well as putting new studs in but I have only used them on trail studs. Have you seen any of there Videos?

I have seen the videos, looks simple to use but was curious about peoples experience as sometimes advertising can be a little bit optimistic.

I appreciate the feedback!

I have given a bunch of the sharpeners away at rides so I would think there should be some other good feed back.

The woodys stud sharpener says not for carbide tip studs. The bite harder one works pretty well once you get the hang of it. It doesn’t really work with double backers however. The best way is to take the studs out and sharpen with a grinder, but such a pain to take them out and re-install

You hit it right on.. to do double backer you have to go back and forth and you cant get a point if you do them on the sled but it will still make a tip. Speed and angle can be tricky but once you get it, they work.

could save some time and take one of the studs out on each double backer....not to be Captain Obvious!

Bite harder worked well and are holding up as well as original
