I would like to update my sled to the c&a xtx ski an 1.5" track for next year. Anyone had any exsperiance studding a 1.5" track on a nytro? Are smaller drivers required to stud it? Assuming smaller drivers. An I've heard many diff versions of just tracks. Haven't heard any studded.
Thanks

did you look at the cobra 1.6" with studs in lugs?
I was thinking of a 1.5" track next winter and wondered about studding it...

I thought about it but cobras have very soft lugs an they don't make a 128" version but ya I have thought about it. Kinda wondered if there's enough adjustment to make a 129" work with 8" rear idlers and oversized idlers up front.

there aren't too many 128 1.5" tracks.....

I changed out the drivers for 9 tooth extrovert Wahl drivers and a 1.5" intense track. The track rubbed on the front heat exchanger protectors. I ended up cutting off the protectors to have reasonable clearance.
I wouldn't try studs on a 1.5" track with these drivers. You may have to try an 8 tooth driver.
