Sorry if this came up before. I tried a search but is really difficult on this site. I have an 07 phazer with the factory track. I wanna stud it but what size stud would I be looking at? If I want 1/4 of an inch penetration, I would be looking at a 1.25 inch stud, correct? Woodys has no application for this sled, and only see 1.175 inch stud on their site. Would this be adequate?

i had 1.080". stuck out a little, but those 1.25" should do the trick. or something close.

just run tunnel protectors if you decide to start jumping or riding aggressive over the moguls.

i hit the back part on mine just trying to pick the skiis up.

i just put in 96 1.150 on the stock track they sick out good plus they should help the track and studs last longer than 1.250's i think 1.25 would stick out a bit much and be prone to bending, pullouts

just went thru this. get the woodys 1.005 stud. it is 1.410 inches long overall, and gives a perfect 1/4 inch exposure. i had 1.6 inch overall in there and they were pulling thru, bending and hiting in one spot under the tailite. so i replaced them.

The stock track should have 1" lugs. The recommended stud size for this application is 1.075". This size should give about .300"-.330" penetration. As far as I know, all of the Woody's studs come in this length. That is what I used on mine, and they work great. The 1" stud will give about .220"-.250" penetration. Woody's recommends .250"-.375" penetration for trail riding.

Agreed. I don't remember what i even put in mine 4 seasons ago, but i've always went for 3/8" stud penetration/petrusion. Heck, i know mine (Woodys) are worn on the tips enough to knock them down to 1/4", so if you only start with that, a little wear and your at 1/8", what good is that? That's probably a poor example i just wrote right there, i'll be quiet now, good day.......... lol, Mike.
