I have heard that I should not put studs on the outside bars...anyone have any insight into why this may be the case? I am going to install Woodys 1.325 studs.

Thanks!

Problem lies if they get torn out. The void left behind is easily able to rip the section of track right across. I would avoid it unless you are putting in over 144 studs (double backers right up the middle)

im going to stud my attak also. Has anyone tried studing with only doubles? i would imagine it would be less prone to pull thru.

I did the woodys single double pattern down the middle and it hooks up really good.It was 162 or 168 cant remember.

I've got 192 Studboys on my Apex and I've had zero bent or damaged studs after 1700 miles. With lots of studs in the track, you greatly reduce your spinning and hurting your track/studs.
BTW I've got a buddy with 96 studs in his strong 700 Poo, he has more than 20 severely bent studs. I think if he put some more diggers in, he'd have better luck keeping the studs straight due to less spinnage Studs are not a bad thing.
