This may sound like a stupid question, but does anyone know how to modify tunnel protectors? I'm installing a Powderlites Stage 2 on my 09 Nytro RTX (1.25 lug) and will be studding the track with 1.325 double backed studs. I've been in contact with Darren from Powderlites and he told me that in order to protect the turbo and the tubes, I would have to modify the portectors. Has anyone done this or know what to do??
Thanks in advance ;)!

Add some plastic hyfax to the aluminum or ad longer bracing

Thanks for the info, but how do you add hyfax to the protectors?? Do you rivet the hyfax?

Thanks

yup just use a table saw to cut the hyfax flat and drill, line up the hyfax to the alum protectors and drill and rivet. I am in the middle of doing this as well
