What is sea foam and where would one obtain it?

It's a fuel/oil treatment to remove crude from an engines fuel system, rings, etc. Most auto part stores handle it.

It's available at most auto parts dealers in the U.S. I've had trouble finding it in Ontario, it's not at NAPA. Sea foam emailed me that it is available at CarQuest in North Bay, so you might try them in other cities.

I don't remember the Seafoam Site, I just searched on Google.
I e-mailed my question to: [email='customerservice@seafoamsales.com]'customerservice@seafoamsales.com[/email]', and got a reply from Paul Durkin at durkin74@rogers.com. I assume he's a Canadian Rep. He probably wouldn't mind if everyone filled his inbox with requests, heh-heh.
He directed me to Car Quest, and to Auto Value (Odrowski Automotive), both in North Bay. Hope this helps.

Greenmachine, thanks for the inquiry. I've been travelling a lot lately, and haven't got it installed yet. Got most of the other parts rounded up, but it looks like I won't get into it 'til Xma$ is out of the way.

whits-end... did he refer you to places in North Bay because you live there? Or because those are the only places in Ontario that carry the stuff? Reason I ask is that I found a carquest location in Newmarket - which is much more convienent to me. I'll call them tomorrow to find out anyways.

Most folks from Southern Ontario can't grasp where I live 'cause it's 'north of Major Mack'. North Bay is the closest 'major trading center' , so I usually give it as reference.

'Course , they often confuse that with Thunder Bay, 'cause they're both lost in that vast frozen wasteland up there.

I haven't checked yet, but I suspect any Car Quest would do.
