1FunRX1, here is the website for the WhiteKnuckle exhaust.
http://www.whiteknuckleperformance.com
I am in the same boat as you as far as which exhaust to get. I have it narrowed down to either Whiteknuckle or the one offered by Maxxium Performace; which I understand is a MRBP exhaust. Havent really heard anything about the MRBP but have heard alot from others that have the whiteknuckle state they really love it. The only thing I like about the MRBP is that it "states" more HP throughout the power band than the QC-1 but does not shave the same weight as the whiteknuckle. In case you want to check out the one from Max Performance, here is their website:

The simmons do great on the RX. I wouldn't go with out them.
Sorry, It's www.whiteknuckleperformance.com I forgot the performance part.
I'm getting better performance now. They only claim a 4hp gain, but the real benefit is the gain in RPM's and the weight loss. I gained around 3-400rpm. I'm guessing it is because the engine is able to breath better now. Also you can really feel the 11lbs of weight loss. I think that is because it is 11 lbs of loss from one oof the higher points on the sled. It helps to lower the overall cebter of gravity. I have lost over 50 lbs of weight total and I felt this 11 MUCH MORE than any other.
As for price they sell them for $399 + shipping, but I was able to work a deal with my dealer and got it for $365 including shipping!!!

Rob and I must have been typing our posts at the same time. Looks like his fingers are faster than mine!!
Rob, you won't be disapointed by the HP differrence. White Knuckle sets up there Dyno diferrently (more conservative). Tom Hartman has had them tested and is claiming 4hp. the 2 or 4hp (which ever you want to go with) Is not much. The true performance gain is in the increased RPM's. Remember though White Knuckle does not market their exhaust as a performance exhaust, but more as a weight savings. I bought it strictly for the weight savings and was VERY pleasantly suprised with the performance gain.

Spray,
Thanks for the info. I have to definitely say that everyone's post about their QC-1 has been positive, to say the least. With that said, I am definitely leaning more towards it. I did not realize that the 11lb weight savings was that noticeable. If that is the case, then the QC1 will win hands down. The MRBP only saves 4lbs! QC1 is also cheaper ($100 less) but I doubt that I will get the same deal you got with your dealer. I also did not realize you could buy it from someone else other than Whiteknuckle. Maybe I should contact the dealer you went through and see what kind of deal I can get. Otherwise, I'll just go through Whiteknuckle.

Being on a shorty you may not notic the weight savings as much, but being a mountain rider I can definately feel the diferrence when I throw the sled up on it's side to carve a turn. Of all the improvements I have made I would say my 159 was the best, the White Knuckle was a close second.
I just called my dealer and the guy I need is out sick today. I will see what he can do to come up with an RX!.info special. Only bad thing is he will have to have them shipped to him and then backout again so there is double shipping. White Knuckle is $399 and shipping is $35-$40 from what I remember. If my dealer could still sell them at $365 + $35 shipping to your location that still would save you around $40. I'll check on it tomorrow.

Spray, of coarse I have painted my "tub" blue. NOT Definitely not the performance I want. I will stick with black. You got a job for me yet?
Fun, Spokane is great. The last couple of winters have really sucked though. Having to travel a ways to get to any good snow. Hopefully this year will be better. If not, off to McCall for the winter. Spray is getting me a job there. HA!HA! I live in the Valley. The new City of Spokane Valley. Yee!HAA!
Back to the subject. The simmons skies are worth their weight in gold. So far, for me, the best purchase for my beast.

Hey Spray,
while your at it why don't you see if you can get a group discount. I'll take one to if you can get it at that price. It would still be cheaper in the long run then going with the MPI. I am currently in the hills of Afghanistan with the Air Force National Guard but I will get my credit card number to them one way or another.
Boy two weeks ago all I heard about was the Mountain Performance Industries exhaust and not there's the White Knuckle and the Maximum Performance. It sounds like the White Knuckle maintains the quietness with all the performance and weight savings as the MPI. Thats the only thing I didn't like about the MPI. Thanks guys for all the info......

I waited three months for delivery from MPI(Bender hadn't sent them to MPI) and finally asked others that ordered the MPI how long they had been waiting. When one guy (I think it was Grapape) said 6 mo and still waiting I called MPI canceled and ordered the QC-1 from whiteknuckle. The guy was very helpful with jetting suggestions for my elevation and the exhaust was in my sled four days later.

BlgsRX-1,
Thanks for the infomation, I really big on customer service and feeling like my money means something to people. I'd rather pay somebody a little more for the better customer service.
MPI was all I had heard about or seen/heard for that matter, I was completely unaware there were that many more options. Thank god for fowums like this and guys like you all.

1FunRX1,
No problem on the info If you go the whiteknuckle route it might take longer to get to Alaska than it does to Montana. Another thing that might help the getting the sled on edge for sidehilling is to raise the bars and drill the rivet out holding the little piece of steel to the bars so you can move them forward. I have found that I have more leverage with the bars closer to waist level when standing.
By the way one of these seasons I will be up in your neck of the woods 8) I have relatives in Palmer and Wasilla. Had a trip planed for last March but I was told there wasn't any snow around there :?

At the end of last season I put on a 2" bar riser and moved them forward a little. It made a huge differance the only problem is now I can't see my display panel and I don't really like that. Had to put a new brake line and throttle cable but it made a huge differance on leverage.
