Supercharger Oil

Are there any rules on how/when to check the oil. Is it like the motor, run it first then check it, or do it cold? Thanks.

Check the oil level after initial start up. Always follow the correct procedure for oil level check: Rev the engine to 2-3000 rpm, and then check the oil level at idling. Do not overfill. Check the oil level regularly.
