Hi guys!
I`m writing on behalf of a friend who has a 2005 RS Vector Mountain.
Today we went out riding together and several times he noticed that the track was slipping in some situations , you know that annoying sound.
Lately his suspension has been acting wierd. It`s become a low rider, the suspension adjustment doesn`t seem to affect the ride height.
Normally when he adjusted it to soft, the ride height would become lower as you put load on the back of the sled, now it`s like that all the time. It seems soft even in hard mode... .
My friend installed a baggage rack a month ago and he loosened the rear boogie mount so that he could lower the boogie/track down in order to mount/fasten the baggage rack properly. (original Yamaha baggage rack).
Could he have done anything wrong when he replaced everything?.
Should be impossible.. .
Well I just wanted to tell you about this because we can`t figure this out..
.
I`d really appreciate any tips or anything
.

I remember reading in previous threads that a broken W arm can cause this, especially the ratcheting (I haven't SEEN this myself though).
Ok thanks for the reply !
.
Hmm where is the W arm located by the way?.

In the front of the rear suspension the limiter staps go over it.
