Anybody got a tricks for suspension setup.......In deep snow my apex is awesome, but when your trying to follow someone's tracks on a narrow trail with a bit of slope........ its hard to control.......it ski dives bad...I have simmons skis on it... the front shocks are set up 3/4 to full preload...the rear skid center shock is set up as hard as it goes....limiter strap is one hole tighter than stock.....I haven't drove the sled with any other ski than the simmons....I almost think it makes the steering harder on the sled.......any ideas..

Would a m-10 help the ski dive?......at the end of the day when your tired the sled rides me in deep snow...

Thanks

I have stock skis and a barkbuster front end. My steering sounds the same as yours. I don't think it's the skis.
Would a looser limiter stap take some weight off the skis and make it easier to steer?

your correct!

I have the same issue's, sock ski's tried toe out, and toe in, stiff to really light with the fox floats and nothing makes a difference, just doesn't stear worth a shizz unless your counter steering, once I've learned to counter steer I'm starting to enjoy the sled more!
The Simmons ski's you have are they the 10" wide version or the narrow version? I've read that the wider ones seem to keep the front up more but no one goes into detail about steering without really working it or counter steering, just cause the front stays up doesn't mean they steer better. Some people say Powder Pro's are a bit better but I think it has to do with the weight on the front. Hammer switched to a set of GYTR clickers and states it handles 100% better but I'd like to know what he means by this before investing in another failure.
