I know this has been discussed over and over, I just spent an hour reading five pages from a thread last year.
I also read a thread on a motorcycle forum about the H4st bulb and the 9003st and I'm more confused then ever. I basically just wanted to get the H4ST bulb as quickly as possible but the threads I have read are conflicting. On one thread it said the H4st and the 9003st are different and then on others it states that 9003st is the part number for the H4???
What do I need to get and are they available at a Auto parts store or Wally World?? Or better yet is there something better this year that is easy to pick up?
Thanks for any advice.

Get the Sylvania Ultra's. They are the latest version that are even brighter and more durable. I just got a set on ebay for my truck for $23 shipped compared to about $40 at Wal-mart..............And yes, H4 ST is what you want.

Try the standard silverstars, I ran them in all of my sleds since 03 with excellent results

Guys, I finally had to replace the bulbs this year as one of the bulbs that was in the sled from the day I bought it (used) finally blew. As I took it out to make sure I got the right replacement I found that the original owner had put in H4 12V 100/90W bulbs. I always thought these were significantly brighter and gave a real nice blue almost like HID projection. I went looking and found that although these are not a street legal bulb, they are still available for purchase. Has anyone else ever used these? I know someone is likely to say that these could be too hot or could cause electrical problems, In 3 years, I never had a problem of any kind. I found them on-line for $20.00/pair.

Sled Dog, I picked them up at the actual store, I will look for a link to attach for everyone to easily check them out. I had gone to wally world first and they did not have the H4ST Silverstars so I went down the road to Auto Zone and they had a big display right as you walk in the door of the store advertising the Ultras and the mail in rebate. The Ultras do not say H4ST they only say H4 but the clerk said they are better than the Silverstars and the price reflected that as well. I will have them in my sled tomorrow if all goes well and I will give a report.
Thanks,
Cobalt

I think your dad was going to get some too, he is getting old and can't see as well.

Hey Rod, how are your powerbulbs working?
I haven't had any burnouts in almost 2 yrs on daily driver. This was a great deal.
Mine are still going strong no burn outs thus far. I installed one in my bike also and it made a huge difference.
