Taller/wider windshield options?

I had put a stock dx windshield on my XTX viper. It wasn’t much to look at but was nice to have for those -30c long rides. It measured 30 inches across at the bottom flares and was 22 inches high. I’m wondering if there is an option like this for the Sidewinder?

The tall windshield option on the Yamaha accessory page looks decent for height but doesn’t look to cover the side as well as the one on my viper.

I wish this one from my viper would fit the SW but it’s not even close. Has anyone seen something similar on the stock dx or cross country AC sleds?

Holy Crap that's a lot of windshield!!! I might have to keep an eye out for one like that for my Viper. What year DX? Or were they all pretty much the same?

I put that windshield on my '17 SRViper XTX too. Love it. If you want to put one on a SRViper, there is a great write up...

Finished product with the mirrors including RGB LED panels used as RAD (Rider alert) lights.

I tried a couple differents ones. The two biggest ones I ran was the Crosstrek windshield with mirrors, followed by the Yamaha medium sport windshield. Finally ended with the Thundercat one. Function better and look a lot better than both higher ones.

Do you have any pictures with them on? Do you know what the part number was for the A/C windshields?

It be nice if a company came out with a adjustable windshield for the 998 like brp has for there new sleds

YamaDom, I dont have pictures on hand and have sold most of them. (I had 5 differents ones at one time) But the best of the bigs was the Crosstrek, part # 7606-459. And I recommand you buy the optional mirroir that complement so well the windshield.
