I'm looking for some info .I just bought a 04 worrior and the secondary is shot .was wondering if the rapid reaction secondary is better up grade I will be turboing this sled.thanks for any info.

same here I`m running na roller rooster right now but want to go to a team secondary and hrp primary if possible

thats the guy

sorry after i talked to you could not log on for a couple days and forgot his name thanks again for the help and the turbo.

I am currently running the Team secondary on my sled. I boondock most of the time with a lot of hill climbing. I started out with a Roller Roost secondary and feel it is far superior to the stock secondary ( ran this secodary for years on a couple of sleds). The Team is probably a better one for a couple of reasons. One, the dual angle helix is cool for tuning for different snow conditions. Second, the ease of changing the helix is nice. Third, it performs a little better than the Roller Rooster also.

I have a 58/38 & 58/40 helix right now, I just purchased a 56/38 & 56/40 helix, in hopes of getting a little better backshift, but haven't ridden with it yet (will go this weekend). I started with a 60/40 & 60/38 (came eith the clutch) and it didn't backshift very well at all. I have the red/black spring in the secondary and run 65gram Hack RX weights in the primary with a pink-green-pink yamaha primary spring.

I have a bender rear mount turbo and run 14#'s on 50/50 92/110-octane.

I have a parogon that would work great in your sled. I'm selling it cheap. It was used once by the guy I bought it from. I have a complete setup from a guy that runs one on his turbo RX-1

Not to go too far off subject, but what Roller Rooster set up were you running? I have the RR 2nd and still do not have it totally figured out. I have the 43/39 helix. Did you try any other angles w/better success?

The user VT.RX1 who logged over 10,000 miles on his 03 RX-1 and over 12,000 miles on his 04 RX-1 posted last season that the Team was a waste of money. If you search the site for this user id and Team, you should find his comments.

I would be interested in running something else too, as I'm getting tired of shelling out $35.00 for those brittle buttons.

Team Clutch

I purchased one for my RX1 and ran it and had no problems at all with it. The only bad thing about running one is it is smaller in Dia then the yamaha clutch which in turn will gear you up on take off or bottom end. I did a polaris drive clutch and a team clutch. The polaris lost top end gearing cause it is smaller and the team lost low end gearing cause of the smaller Dia also. Hope this helps your questions. But they ran really cool temps for me which I thought was great.
