A mountain guy like me usually watches videos like this and doesn't say much. But damn, that sled is movin. What do those times equate to in MPH?

There was no radar gun available that day but suspect 126-128 mph.

I think at one point in that vid I heard a 132 or something in the 130's!!!

1.32 was the 60 ft time.

Impressive with a stock motor. What fuel are you running?

Ross It is guys like you that make this sport possible, you put up with trucks and trailers all over your yard and street, and snowmobiles running up and down your lawn, you go out and plow 2 quarter mile strips marked off 660, 1000, and 1/4 mile.

Your a real class act, and we really appreciate you having us over.

Nice job on the Videos, I really appreciate it.

I am sure someone will ask so our times are 5.32 in 660 with 1.32 60 ft.
times.

Sled weight 566 lb., with driver 720 lb.

Still tuning.

How much boost are you running on this sled?

Pretty sure Ted is running around 14lbs out of a GT25R

I am currently running 22 psi boost, a GT2560R and a few of my special touches.

I love the Pod and the Proline. It looks great!!!!!

How much heat does the exhaust generate shooting at your leg? Was there ever a consideration to have it tucked under the cowling??

Boy, you want all my secrets.

Thanks.

The pipe is no problem because it is coated, you still can't touch it.
It does not shoot at the leg, it shoots out the side like a bike.

Sunoco fuel stock motor with 4000 miles.

Ted.

I'm just curious how much octain you have to run at 22 pounds with stock compression is all.

I've had this conversation with Fred and Bob From Lightning Pro many times. I truly believe and now your proving it with the right fuel you can run stock compression and big boost.

Good job!!!!!

Good job!!!!!

You can use the boost calculator on this site to get you a starting point.

I run maximal but with MSD ignition.

Use at your own risk.

What do you think about VP race fuel? By using that calculator it appears you only need 112 obtain fuel at the 22 pound boost level with the 11.8 stock compression. Do you think that calculator is spot on?

VP race fuel is fine if that is all you can get.
I would pad the numbers a little like 114
