We are going up tonight to are cabin by Mancelona mi. Hope we find some snow. I did a update to my CPR air and clutch kit.
New helix, spring and whight set up. My brother with his CPR piped VIPER can always pull on me from about 50 mph and up. His VIPER is one of the fastest sleds in my group. If this new set up helps at all, then I should run very close to him, or better.
If this new set up dont help,
this would be my very first disappointment with CPR.
I will let you know if it works monday...Gary.

It got me to the end faster, but it was all in the low end. Side by side runs my brother can always pull om me a bit.
Hope the new set up will help in the mid more.
Let us know how it runs for you...

Update, we found snow.
We got about 5" of good snow friday night. Saterday we went up to the
Grill on the hill, then over to Gaylord and down to Frederick then back to the cabin. The trails was in good shape but to the north it was a bit thin.
We did 122 miles on the run.
Now to the CPR update testing. Conditions was a big part of it { I hope }
The road we test on never got plowed, so we had to run on loose snow packed down by cars. I could feel the snow pull it down at times but, so could my brother. My rpm was good and so was his.
But just like always he could pull right past me by 80 mph. It even looked like he went buy faster. By now it was midnight, we got back to are cabin by 1 am. So we just had a few beers.
Conditions was not great so Im calling this test 'Inconclusive'.
Next time I will do it right. after I run him with the update, I will then reinstall the old set up and then run him in the same conditions.
Then I will know if this new CPR set up works or not. I hope to get a chance soon to try it. I will keep you guys posted...Gary.
