Had a small malfunction with my steering on Friday afternoon. Got the sled down to the bottom of Blue and raced into Sicamous at about 3:30. I called Dave and he got me into his shop right away. I pulled the steering apart using his tools and he welded the broken part. We were on our way in just over an hour .As result got one of the best days riding ever on Saturday. Sled ran at 13 lbs boost all day.

Thanks again Dave

Hey Paul,
What part ended up breaking? I have seen a few pics lately of guys on Yammies having steering posts break. Heading to the Mtns myself in a couple of weeks and wonder if there is anything to look for or check before heading out.

Thanks, Culvert

BTW that pipe sounds and works awesome. All the guys I ride with have nothing but great comments on the sound.

I have an aluminum steering shaft the one dpwn the side of the delta box and the weld on the tab for the heim joint broke. Glad the pipe worked out. I wish I'd made 10 of them, had lots of people wanting to buy it.
