This is your chance to bounce those goofy ideas you have off your fellow Nytro owners without being told your an idiot!!!

Mine is not that crazy, but I am thinking of painting my hood. I've used Krylon Fusion paint in the past with good success and I'm thinking of using it to paint my hood. What do you guys think?

What are you guys thinking of doing??

I just bought 2 cans of the dark red krylon paint that Im going to be using to change all my blue pieces to dark deep red. Im also buying carbon fiber vinyl and fixing up all of my black pieces with that. thats along with undertunnel exhaust and a few more goodies.

Revster have you gone with the 135mm wheels yet? I went to 136"and have been watching your build, I have many mods done to mine as well and the bigger wheels will amaze you. 1500 miles with no wear, straps show no where, no issues with cracking. It's a must!!

Cheers

Yeah I'm doing that this summer for sure. I'm kind of leaning towards the excell wheels at this point they seem to be the best bang for the buck, and a straight bolt on.

Are you running the excell ones? and did you change the rear wheel size as well??

That'll look great! You're going to have to post some pics up!! ;)!

The Krylon stuff works great. Are you going to prime and clear coat? I know that can says you don't need a primer but I always use one.

The paint should turn out great! When prepared right paint sticks amazingly well to the plastics.

I pained both sleds windshields. I wasn't going for a gloss finish. I ended up (by mistake) using carb cleaner to get off the old trail pass. It came off well but left the screen looking like crap. But it was perfect primer. Did not need to sand or scuff the plastic.

Same rear wheels as you, I used Skidoo 135mm ( great quality), Excell was not available then, I put them on a CNC machine to change the look some and stock brackets, took a little work to get the back ones located. Those slides have 1500 miles on them and look the same at the bend. Excell wheels look great and easy.

Did the same thing, Carb cleaner is a monster, brake cleaner is a bit safer. Good to see paint sticking to plastic. It didn't for years..
