Hey guys...need some opinions from guys that made this switch. I have an O7 Attak and have been considering trading(depending on 2010 models) for a base 121 Nitro. I love my Attak but i'm thinking i want something i can throw around a little easier in the tight trails. When i bought my Attak we were doing 80% western U.P. riding, now it seems we spend more time in lower Michigan and Wisconsin. Me and my riding buddies are "trail riders"...an occasional boondocking session but 95% trails. I hate to give up my sled for something that may not be what i'm looking for either. I have always valued the opinion of the guys on this site so any help/opinions would be much appreciated.

Oh and please no ...."if u change your set up you can make your attak rail tight corners like a 121.....guys i've tweaked and tinkered with every set up thrown out there trust me... plus i work on sprint cars all summer so its not like i'm an idiot when it comes to setting up springs/shocks/suspensions.

I would just like to hear from the guys that made the switch...pros and cons. Thanks

Last year for the season I rode a apex gt. This year i have the fx nytro. I feel these are pretty different sleds. The apex was a sit back and chill sled and on the straight aways look out, but it felt big and bulky and was hard to throw around on the trail. So while mine wasn't a long track I understand your frustration.

This year the nytro is completely different. I have never liked getting air on a sled and trust me I am not doing any 10' jumps. But this sled is fun. I feel comfortable leaving the ground a few feet with it. You ride this sled totally different from the apex. The sled responds well to my input and I like leaning forward coming into turns. The throttle response is sick. I feel like a cartoon with my legs dangling off the back when I hammer it. Only thing missing is the top end which I knew when I bought the sled. Neither sled is right, wrong or indifferent. Just throwing my opinion out.
