I just could not belive that the police oficer was telling the truth, but he was. I check the laws of quebec ofroad vehicules and....
you can not replace anything on a vehicule that can improve acceleration, and for them anything aplis too acceleration even carbibes. So a stering relocator kit, the ho spark plugs, power comander, hid light good carbibes, supercharger, turbo, cold air intake k&n, frogskinz for keeping snow out and vent more, i.p vent, k&n filter, all is illegal. Even sticker or paint on body panel are illegal.
Wow, what a wonderfull place Quebec in Canada, evem aftermarket stock replacement part are illegal, the distinct society of quebec, the like to call themself as different, I live here and I write this so everyone knows that the litle rusia of canada is growing. it is time to prepare a mooving in another province, quebec stink too much.

I worked in Queerbec a lot, and found out very quickly that it is the Me, ME, ME province. All they care about is themselves, and everyone else can go to the back of the line.
It,s time for the rest of the provinces, and the federal gov,t to tell them to get lost, and get to the back of the line for handouts, for a change.

I agree with you, I am studying to be earing aid specialist, I am already looking where to apply for jobs in ontario and then moove to ontario.
à the Me,me,me syndrome is so truh it represents easily 50% of the population, everything is in parking position, there is the other 50% that are not in the Me,me,me syndrome, hopefully the non-me,me,me persons that want to be proud Canadians and moove to another province will be welcome. I lived 3 month in New brunswick, and 3 month in Ontarion and as soon as you croos the line on the road you see the difference, there is no potholes and the pavement is in good shape. First thing I also notice is that you can walk whitout being afraid that a car will ran into you, car drivers are civilised in Canada and in quebec....lets just say that you must experienced it to believe it.

So, in essence, add whatever aftermarket you want just so long as you make certain your sled is faster than the police sled. Got it!!!!

do these stupid laws apply to anyone from out of province there riding for a week as well?
just like the stupid truck/trailer weight laws in Ontario. anything over 4500KG ( over 9918lbs)GCWR combined truck, trailer and load needs an annual inspection on the tow vehilce as well as the trialer whether it's for personal or commerical use. Doesn't matter that the manufacturer says your good to pull a GCWR of 13000lbs. But pull the same weight with an RV type trailer and you're exempt. WTF

same laws for outsiders as well.
The most funy part is the transportion department are not able to help understand there ambigus laws and they answer:"it is not our job to explain the laws"

have they enforced any of these laws? How does a police officer know what is stock and what's not. does he have a complete microfiche on hand to check each part #. that is totally unenforcable because some of these items are for safety like carbides and studs.so anyone getting a ticket just needs to take it to court. once they tie all the courts and officers off duty time up with those stupid fines they they will just change it or won't even bother to try to enforce them. that is the first i have every heard of such a law in Quebec. mufflers yes,but carbides, paint, decals windshield etc, i don't believe it.

Been riding only Quebec for over 15yrs living here 5yrs now.
Maybe on paper it "might" say all that. I have never heard or seen anyone bothered or ticketed for anything other then aftermarket exhaust.(as they should be). Have you gotten tickets for all these "illegal things?" if you have I would sure like to hear about it. You must ride like a Moron to piss of a cop enough to throw the entire book at you. Bravo champion.
Been stopped lots of times for Paperwork checks and i have HID lights graphics and know other guys with Turbo's and superchargers and as long as you got no loud exhaust you are on your way.
