Since there is no snow, I guess some of us just have to resort to dyno racing... LOL!
Here is a vid I found of the Excell Motorsports Full Power Performance new snow hill drag racer on a track dyno.
I like the 2-step stutter flames...

Looks great Maury, I hope all is well over at the Fpp camp! No ice or snow is a tough pill to swallow this year for sure! Although the extra time to finish projects has been nice lol.

I'd assume that they are using the stutter on the track dyno because they are tuning the clutches to grab the belt at the hit. The stutter is pointless if the belt then can't transfer all that power to the track.

HYFLYR, I just be guessing but don't think Aaron would want to reveal any HP numbers anyways due to the competition he's racing against... However, judging from the videos and how that engine ran in his old sled, I'd say it's not lacking any.

Ummm knowing FPP Justin, that is probably just a smidge more... You can hear the air whistling...

No, I gotcha... I don't know what that was on the video but I can tell you this, I had the pleasure of piloting the open-mod RX1 grass dragger that he built, and that left the line with way more then 6 lbs...

Watching those biig turbo 4 strokes leave the line gives me the chills.....just thinking about it!

I agree, makes the testosterone pump for sure.
Still comes down to how much will the belt take at engagement, way too easy to over do it with that kind of power and it will just slip & smoke... and with short racing like grass and hill drags, the first 60 feet have to be good so can't have that.

Out with Jason Price last year when he was testing for Phatman. I was shocked as he broke 3 belts in 1 hour. Just broke them in half not in pieces. If I had a cat i would do priceless performance for sure.

A Priceless Performance sled ran exceptionally well at Haydays two years ago when I was there...

Got some recent pic's of their Hill Dragger all put together.
